Pre-K3: Week of November 20, 2023

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Selser and I are so thankful for your sweet little angels and so incredibly grateful that we get to spend our days with each and every one of them. Thank you for sharing your children with us and entrusting us with their care. They bring us so much joy each and every day! We would like to wish all of our families a very Happy Thanksgiving.💗🦃

A sneak peek at our upcoming week: We will be finishing up Letter Hh, continuing to learn about Thanksgiving and Sharing, Patterns and Shapes this week as well as getting a jump start on some Christmas fun.

🎄🎅🌟CHRISTMAS🌟🎅🎄Our PreK Combined 3's and 4's Christmas Show🎄is on Friday, December 8th at 9:00am in the Main Gym. (Snow Date on 12/11) Donations Sign Up came home through your child's folder on Friday.

Letter of the Week: Finishing Letter Hh
Number of the Month: 3
Color of the Month: Brown
Shape of the Month: Square
November Themes: Signs of Fall, Counting 0-3, Sorting, AB Patterns, Thanksgiving, Families, Sharing
Religion: Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Thankfulness, "My Family Cares For Me" and "All Saints Day"

Show & Tell: NO SHOW and TELL this week due to the shortened week

Dates to Remember:

November 20-21: PRESCHOOL will be in full session even though K-8 will have Noon Dismissals for conferences. Our PreK Conferences will take place in January.

November 22nd, Wednesday-🦃 NOON DISMISSAL- No After School Care- Thanksgiving Break

November 23rd and 24th- NO SCHOOL- Thanksgiving Break

December 5th (Tuesday): Santa Shop (Optional)- 5 Day Friends will shop with our class. 3 Day Friends are welcome to shop with a parent.

December 8th 9:00am: 🎄PreK Combined 3's and 4's Christmas Show🎄Your child will be dismissed directly to you after the performance. Preschool will NOT BE in session after the show and Before Care will NOT be available.

December 15th: HSA School Wide Pajama Day to raise money for CHOP

December 21st: 8th Grade Project Graduation Tag Day: 🎅🎄Wear Christmas Colors🎄🎅

December 21st: NOON Dismissal (No After Care)

December 22nd-29th: NO SCHOOL - Christmas Break

January 15th: NO SCHOOL Martin Luther King Jr Day

January 15th: PRIORITY REGISTRATION begins for the 2024-2025 School Year for current STS Families

January 28th: STS Catholic Schools Week Begins (details coming soon)

Our Five Day Friends started the week off learning about Scarecrows.

They LOVED playing with some new classroom toys too!

The shirts this year... I LOVE THEM!!!

We loved learning about Hippos for Letter H!

We used a new painting technique to make our 3's!

We "wrote" our special Thankful Stories!!
