Green was the theme this week!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will  be learning Letter Tt, continuing to work on our Transportation STEAM Unit, and celebrating Easter!

 πŸ‡πŸ°Easter Hat ParadeπŸ°πŸ‡   March 27th at 11:15am:  Our Annual PreK Easter Hat Celebration is in March this year!  Time to get out the Peeps, plastic eggs, flowers, bunny ears and your hot glue gun!!  It's your time to shine with creating the most amazing Easter Hat with your little honey bunny!  You can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like.  I'm sure your little cutie will be proud to wear whatever you create together!  Please see the notice that came home  in your child's folder for more details. (Just a little heads-up: the dollar stores are already full of Easter items!)

March Themes:   Counting 0-7, Graphing, Friendship, Transportation, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, St. Patrick's Day, Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes, Differentiating Sizes, Lent, Easter and Signs of SPRING!

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Praying for Others, Good Deeds, Lent and Easter

Show & Tell:  Friday, March 20th: Wear your Silliest Socks to show and tell our friends about!

AND THEN WE SAW THIS ON MONDAY!!!!!

Our St Patrick's Day fun continued with our Five Day Friends!


We designed our own Rainbow Art for another fun Experiment!




Then we added water!

And had so much fun playing Counting Games!


And Number Recognition Games...



Patterning Games...


And Scissor Games too!


Shamrock Movement Games were so much fun too!!










Ss isn't just for St. Patrick's Day...


Ss is for Spring too!!!!!





We did so well on our Spring Tree Tags too!


Early Spring flowers are already starting to bloom!







Ss is for seed pods to!!
We worked on our scissor skills while learning about them too!



They are now on display in our classroom garden!


We are speeding our way through our Transportation Unit!


We had so much fun using our steering wheels to "drive our cars!!"






And learned about traffic lights too!







Then we designed our own cars!

They are now on display in our class traffic jam!


We have begun to set sail in school as well!


We started painting our sailboats...

Our Five Day Friends continued the underwater fun!


We submerged ourselves in submarine fun!

We did so well on Sounds of Spring and SPRING rhyming this week!!


We learned about Jesus healing a blind man.
 We thanked God for our sense of sight as well as all of our other special blessings!


We were so grateful to get back out on our playground this week too!
We used our special sense of sight so spot signs of Spring everywhere!!
