πŸ“Έ Here's A Little Snap Shot of Our WeekπŸ“Έ

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Ms. Hannah and The Roxbury Public Library for a wonderful field trip!  And a great big thank you to The Roxbury Police Department as well as our two security officers, Lieutenant Rocco and Officer Feeney for helping us get there safely.
And another GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of our parents who came on our trip with us! We hope you enjoyed our fun trip and long walk as much as we did!

Our Very Hungry Caterpillars are growing and growing right before our very own eyes!

We loved making our own Very Hungry Caterpillars!

We did so well sequencing the story on our Felt Board!

Caterpillar Patterns were a breeze!

We worked really hard on our Caterpillar Scholastic Booklet!

In the storybook, The Very Hungry Caterpillar even eats through a piece of WATERMELON!!

Oh and did you know that Ww is for Watermelon!?!?!

Be sure to ask your little farmer if our watermelon was heavy or light!!

Ask them if it is a fruit or vegetable...

And ask them how it grows and what it grows from too!!!

πŸ‰After learning some cool facts, we were on to the dissection! πŸ‰

It was so exciting!

Then came the Taste Test!

Ask your little taste tester to tell you all about our Watermelon Graph Results!!!
Our votes were UNANIMOUS!!!!

Then we had so much fun making our own watermelon slices!!

Be sure to ask your sticky little taste testing mathematician to count how many seeds are on their slice!!

Our Five Day Friends loved learning about really cool insects - DRAGONFLIES!!

We also worked on the letters of our names to build our dragonfly bodies with!!

They are now flying around our classroom skies...

Our Five Day Friends also LOVED finishing up our Transportation Unit with some  Transportation Learning Center FUN!!

We learned so much about our PreK-3 Mommies with our Questionnaire Activity!

We worked so hard to make our Mommies the most beautiful bracelets too!!

Playing outside is so much fun!

But so is playing inside!!

Learning about flowers is so much fun too!

Xx is for Xylophone!

We learned that we could make our own xylophones out of things we have in our homes!

We also learned about sound waves and frequencies and compared sounds we made with empty glasses to sounds we made with glasses filled with water!

Then we were on to making our Xx- Xylophone craft where we continued differentiating sizes and working with rectangles!!

Our xylophones came out great!!

May God continue to Bless you all as you raise your beautiful families.
And a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone for spoiling me with all of your generosity this Teacher's Appreciation Week.  It is I who should be thanking you all for sharing your sweet angels with me!
