Week of November 25, 2019

We had another busy week full of  learning fun!  We loved reading Run Turkey Run and working in small groups to "hide" our turkeys from the class farmers - Mrs Matthews and myself!  It was such fun STEAM lesson to teach and observe our incredible little engineers and architects participate in!!
Take a peek at the photos above to see if you can spot our hidden turkeys...

Letter Hh was a blast to learn about... Hiccups, Hippos, Hat Stacker Memory Game, Horses, Pin The Tail on the Horse, Harvest and Houses are just a few of of the happy highlights!  Be sure to ask your Hard worker all about it!

We are starting to learn about the Real Meaning of Christmas and continuing to practice for our Christmas Show.  It isn't ideal to intrude on one of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, with all of our Christmas lessons, but this year with Thanksgiving being so late, I'm forced to overlap... Hope this helps to clarify why you are starting to see some Christmas themed work starting to come home.

ARTWORK ON DISPLAY for one more week:  Our PreK artists' masterpieces are on display in the Roxbury Public Library!!!!  Be sure to stop by the Children's Section to see our amazing St Therese Preschool bulletin boards on display.  PreK-3 created beautiful Indian Corn and PreK-4 made amazing Crows!  You will be able to identify your child's artwork by their initials written on the bottom of their masterpieces!!  Feel free to take this opportunity for a quick photo opp!!  (THANK YOU for sharing your amazing photos with me, I LOVE THEM!!)

Christmas Show:  PLEASE mark your calendars!!  Our Show will begin at 8:45am on December 13, 2019 in the All Purpose Room of the Church.  Plan on it taking about an hour or so.  The routine will be very different for this special day.  All children will arrive a little later right to the Church and will be dismissed directly to you right after our Show and refreshments so you can spend the rest of your special day together with with your amazing little Preschool Performer!!  (Information and an invitation went home last week.)  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to MRS SELSER AND MRS ROZANSKI for an fabulous Halloween Party and for all of their help getting our preschoolers ready for their big parade!

Thank you for coming out to see our Halloween Paraders and for cheering us on as we sang our Halloween songs!  We all had so much fun!
