πŸ›Did you hear about the new additions to our class?!?!πŸ›

A  great BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Reed for picking them up at my house when I was out of town on Thursday night and for introducing them to both of our classes on Friday morning!!
πŸ¦‹πŸ›Raising caterpillars certainly does take a VILLAGE!!! lol πŸ›πŸ¦‹

πŸƒπŸ₯šCan you guess what caterpillars hatch from??πŸ₯šπŸƒ

We started Step One of a cool caterpillar craft...
Stay tuned next week to see the final results!

πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

We started off the week learning about yet another naughty, NAUGHTY Character!

We loved reading many different versions of her famous Fairy Tale!

Can you guess who she is????

Hint, hint: She has Golden Locks!!

We did so well differentiating sizes: small, medium and BIG!

🐻Our Five Day Friends loved making their little bears too!🐻

Our masterpieces are now on display in our Learning Center Hallway Gallery!

In one of the versions of the Fairy Tale that we read,
Goldilocks got lost in the forest while collecting flowers for her mommy!!
Sooooooo...
Our Five Day Friends finished up learning Letter Vv with some Vase and Flower fun!

They did so well learning the parts of flowers too!

Look at these masterpieces!!
(Oh, and the vases came out great too!!)

We did so well making our Name Flower Flower Pots!
They are now on display in our Classroom Gallery!

Our scissor skills are coming along so nicely!
Our botanists cut out flower petals from thick painted plates with ease!!

But making seed pods was probably our favorite part of this craft!!

We read a really funny storybook about growing grass and then checked out the progress of our own!!
WOW!!! It is growing so quickly!!

Ww is for Whale!

WOW, are these creatures magical!!

Ww is for watercolors too!!

Ww is for WORMS too!!
After reading a cool Worm storybook...

Our little biologists made so many scientific discoveries with their very own worms!!

We even TASTED them!!!
(Good thing the worms we used for these discoveries were GUMMY ones!!!)

κœ›This little birdie ate her worm so quickly that I couldn't even get a photo...
Just the sweet smile afterwards!!! 🐦

Learning worm facts was so cool!!

Looking for worms was even cooler!

Our worm detectives were having a bit of trouble locating one UNTIL...

Mrs. Selser FOUND ONE!!!!  (She dug deep!)

πŸͺ±IT WAS SOOOOOO EXCITING!!!!!!πŸͺ±

Then we set our Worm Friend FREE!!
It is now living in our classroom planter on our playground.
Hopefully it will start preparing our soil for our spring planting coming soon!!

Ww is for Walrus too!!

Be sure to ask your little environmentalist to tell you some cool Walrus Facts!!

We did so well on our Handwriting and Phonics pages too!!

We even cut out our own pieces!!!

Show and Tell continues to be a HUGE HIT in PreK-3!

We love playing outside!

πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›Wow, do I LOVE our sweet little love bugs!!!πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

Looking forward to our Field Trip on Monday,
