Weekly Recap:

We had a great first day of school! We were so impressed with how quickly all the children adjusted to being in their new classroom. Great job prepping them for school PreK-3 Families!!! It is going to be a wonderful school year!!

We had so much fun on our first day of school painting, playing, praying, coloring, singing, dancing and of course starting to make new friends!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:

This week we will be working on our "All About Me" (and each other) Unit! We cannot wait to see what you and your child come up with on your ⭐Star Poster⭐ for our first Show and Tell on Friday 9/11! Individual School photos will also be taken this Friday, class photos are scheduled for later this Fall. We will also be working on our Names, Initial Letters, Number 0 and continuing to learn our new classroom routines. The children are all catching on really quickly already!

Please be sure to sign up for Parent Square for important information and forms from the Main Office. Also please fill out and return the forms in your orientation folder as soon as possible. Our School Calendar can be found on our school website for you reference.

PreK Before Care aka "Early Birds":

If your child will be in need of this service, please be sure to register through your Parent Square Account. Before Care runs from 7:30-8:30am in the Second Grade classroom in the Main Building. Please drop your child off at the Main Entrance via Carline any time between 7:30 and 8:00am. After 8:00, please drop your child off directly to our classroom. You will be billed monthly for the days you utilize the service. Please reach out should you have any additional questions.

Please LABEL EVERYTHING that belongs to your little one, including jackets. It is very difficult for us to keep track of what belongs to whom.

Thank you for returning our school forms so quickly as well as all of your very generous donations of tissues, baby wipes and disinfecting wipes!!

School Pictures📸: 9/11 for PreK-3 - Grade 2: Please wear your smile! 😊 Our class photo as well as any retakes will be taken on November 9th.

Absentees: Please notify the School Nurse if your child will be absent from school. You may either call or email. There is also a link on the school website. If you choose to email please cc me as well.

Back to School Night:

Back to School Night will only be held for Grades One through Eight. Our PreK Orientation was in lieu of it. Feel free to attend for the introductions by our HSA and Mrs. Reback if you wish but please keep in mind that PreK and Kindergarten class presentations will not be offered that evening.

Numbers of the Month: 0 and 1
Color of the month: Yellow
Shape of the month: Circle
September Units: All About Me and Each Other, Making Friends, Apples, The Five Senses
Religion: Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals

Show and Tell: Friday, September 11th- Please bring in your All About Me Star Poster. We can't wait to learn more about each other! ***PLEASE LABEL your project WITH YOUR CHILD's NAME***
