🌈Our Leprechaun Trap is set!🌈

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will  be learning Letter Ss, working on our new STEAM Unit on Transportation, having lots of St Patrick's Day Fun and observing some early signs of SPRING!!!

 🐇🐰Easter Hat Parade🐰🐇   March 27th at 11:15am:  Our Annual PreK Easter Hat Celebration is in March this year!  Time to get out the Peeps, plastic eggs, flowers, bunny ears and your hot glue gun!!  It's your time to shine with creating the most amazing Easter Hat with your little honey bunny!  You can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like.  I'm sure your little cutie will be proud to wear whatever you create together!  Please see the notice that came home  in your child's folder for more details. (Just a little heads-up: the dollar stores are already full of Easter items!)

March Themes:   Counting 0-7, Graphing, Friendship, Transportation, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, St. Patrick's Day, Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes, Differentiating Sizes, Lent, Easter and Signs of SPRING!

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Praying for Others, Good Deeds, Lent and Easter

Show & Tell:  Friday, March 20th: Wear your Silliest Socks to show and tell our friends about!

R is for Rabbit

We loved reading and singing about the naughtiest character we have read about this year!

Our Five Day friends continued the fun by making their own Rabbit Foo Foo Goonies!

And they did so well on Rabbit Foo Foo story sequencing too!!

We learned about Robins and early signs of Spring this week too!!

Our Robins will soon be on display in our Learning Center Hallway Gallery!

We painted bird nests too!

Then we decorated our nests...

Then we worked on some sweet little birdies!

Then we cut out our own eggs (ovals)!!!

Filling our nests was so much fun too!!

Our Spring masterpieces are now "hanging out" in our classroom gallery... be sure to look up next time you visit our classroom!

We loved using our abacus to count this week!

Then we made our own #7 abacuses! 

And we did so well writing our Number 7s too!!

Our Scientists loved publishing and sharing their Scientific Journals!

We launched our new Transportation STEAM Unit with some "r is for rocket" fun!

And we worked on some Math skills at the same time!

Ask your little astronaut to count down from ten to BLAST OFF!!!

We did so well on our name rockets too!!

They are now on display in our classroom galaxy!

Sensory play with our moon rocks was so much fun too!!

Our Five Day Friends continued some Springtime fun by making watering cans to water our new Springtime blossoms!

They are now on display in our classroom garden!

Rr is for Robots!

Our little scientists loved coding our little Beebots and testing out their "formulas" as they sent them rolling along to their Beebot partners!

It was SO MUCH FUN!!!

DANCE BREAKs!!

Inside playtime is so fun!

But SO IS (finally)PLAYING OUTSIDE!!!!!

Look who stopped by to say "HI!"

Show and Tell is always a BIG HIT in PreK-3!

We painted a special someone's beard this week too...

Then we TRAINED!!!

We practiced our STARES!!!

NO BLINKING!!!

NOW WE ARE READY TO CATCH OUR OWN LEPRECHAUN!!!

We are hoping that the Leprechaun will stop by our classroom this weekend!!

And that we will be able to catch him on Monday!!

We are feeling pretty LUCKY!!!
