💖🦃OH THE SHIRTS THIS YEAR!!!!🦃💖

 Weekly Recap:  

We loved learning about different kinds of families and talking about how grateful we are for everyone in our own families.  We made houses and drew our families inside!  We also talked about our favorite things to do with our families.  Our masterpieces will soon be on display in the Learning Center Hallway Gallery!  

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week: 

We will be hitting the ground running this week with so much to get done before Christmas!  We will be doing lots of practicing of our Christmas Carols to get ready for our Show on December 8th.  If you hear some beautiful singing and humming at home, please encourage it even if it is about two red apples, five pumpkins or five fat turkeys!  We will also be working on letter Ii as well as kicking off our December themes this week as well as starting our Gifts of Kindness campaign in PreK-3!  Please check your child's folder this week for all the details.

🎄🎅🌟CHRISTMAS🌟🎅🎄Our PreK Combined 3's and 4's Christmas Show🎄is on Friday, December 8th at 9:00am in the Main Gym.  (Snow Date on 12/11)  Donations Sign Up came home through your child's folder.

This Week's Focus will be on:

Letter of the Week: Letter Ii
Numbers of the Months: 3 & 4
Colors of the Months:  Brown & Blue
Shapes of the Months:  Square & Star
November Themes:  Signs of Fall, Counting 0-3, Sorting, AB Patterns, Thanksgiving, Families, Sharing, Christmas and Kindness
Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Thankfulness, "My Family Cares For Me," "All Saints Day" and Christmas

Show & Tell:  NO SHOW and TELL this week due to Christmas Show Practice

Dates to Remember:

December 5th (Tuesday): Santa Shop (Optional)- 5 Day Friends will shop with our class.  3 Day Friends are welcome to shop with a parent.

December 8th 9:00am: 🎄PreK Combined 3's and 4's Christmas Show🎄Your child will be dismissed directly to you after the performance.  Preschool will NOT BE in session after the show and Before Care will NOT be available.

December 15th: HSA School Wide Pajama Day to raise money for CHOP

December 21st: 8th Grade Project Graduation Tag Day: 🎅🎄Wear Christmas Colors🎄🎅

December 21st: NOON Dismissal (No After Care)

December 22nd-29th:  NO SCHOOL - Christmas Break

January 15th: NO SCHOOL Martin Luther King Jr Day

January 15th: PRIORITY REGISTRATION begins for the 2024-2025 School Year for current STS Families

January 28th: STS Catholic Schools Week Begins (details coming soon)

We loved putting the finishing touches on our Reindeer!

We finished painting and GLITTERING our 3D stars!

Our Five Day Friends had so much fun reading a super silly storybook about "an old lady who swallowed a pie" and making their own pieces of pie!!

It's that sparkly time of the year!!!

WE LOVE GLITTER in PreK-3!!!

We are so thankful for our sweet friends!

We learned a funny new Thanksgiving song and had so much fun illustrating it!

ssshhhh... Don't tell your little artist that they were working on their fine motor skills while hiding their Five Fat Turkeys!!!

We read Run Turkey Run and then worked on a STEM activity in teams to hide our turkeys from the cook- Mrs. Dobres!

We were so clever!!

NO TURKEYS WERE FOUND!!!

We had so much fun playing a Turkey Scavenger Hunt Game and then counting and sorting our turkeys!

We are so thankful for all of the Blessings God has given us.

We ended the week with a Turkey Roll and Cover Counting Game!

The giant dice was so much fun to roll!!
