A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will be beginning to learn Letter  Pp, learning about Lent, focusing on two special "P" Arctic Animals, learning about Camouflage, learning all about Dental Health and using some cool Painting Techniques!

February Themes:  Counting, Numbers 0-6, Sorting, AABB and ABCABC Patterns, Feelings, Winter, Weather, Camouflage, Name Recognition, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Calendar, Valentine's Day, Dental Health, Presidents' Day, Groundhog Day, Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Praying for Others, "God is Love"

Show & Tell:  Friday, February 20th:  FREE CHOICE WEEK!

Then we put his finishing touches on later in the week!

PreK-3 Dance Breaks are THE BEST!!!





After learning about Winter Birds and reading a beautiful Valentines for Winter Birds Poem, our sweet friends headed out into the Cold Winter Elements to deliver some much needed Valentines to our special feathered friends!


Can you guess what our Valentines were?














Then we came back inside and made our own Winter Birdies out of HEARTS!!!




We are getting so good at Search and Find challenges!!


Dance Break!


And we wrapped up the day with Learning Board Games!



We love playtime!


We learned a new, tricky, tricky pattern this week!!














Our Weather Bear continues to dress appropriately for these cold Winter Days!!

Our Five Day Friends loved learning all about Abraham Lincoln!


Making his log cabin was so much fun!










Then we moved onto some sensory play letter review and table cleaning too!!!





Learning Centers were back by popular demand!














Then THE BIG DAY finally ARRIVED!!!!


We LOVED making our deliveries!














We did so well on our Super, Duper, Shlooooper, Scissor Challenge!!!

It was the first time we cut through a folded piece of paper to reveal a MYSTERY SHAPE!!! 


It was soooooooo exciting!!





We played Valentine Movement Games!



We sang our special Valentine's Day Song!


Valentine's Day Math Games "added up" to lots and lots of FUN too!!!














We DANCED our HEARTS OUT!





Then our sweet Valentines got "so very, very tired!" 


I really do LOVE all of our little SWEETHEARTS!!!
