We joined the rest of St Therese School for the May Crowning!
A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week: We will be learning Letter Zz, working on our Nursery Rhyme and Fairy Tale Unit, continuing to learn about Insects and the Life Cycle and practicing for our GRADUATION!
🎓🏫PreK-3 Graduation - June 12, 2026: We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation, "The Preschool Review" where we will take a trip down our PreK-3 Memory Lane singing a song or reciting a poem for each of the months we were in school! Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:40 that morning and families will head to the Gym in the Main Building. Our Performance will begin promptly at 10:00am and will be followed by light refreshments. Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration. Our Graduation will take approximately 60-90 minutes. Please refer to the details that came home through your child's folder.

Letter of the Week: Letter Zz
Numbers of the Month: Numbers 9 and 10
Color of the Month: Review of all colors
Shape of the Month: Review of all shapes
STEAM Unit: Life Cycle
Themes for the Month: Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Seasons of SPRING and SUMMER, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Flowers and Insects, Life Cycle
Religion: Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and "We Sing Our Prayers"
Show & Tell: No Show and Tell due to Graduation Practice!!!!!

May 22nd: 8th Grade Tag Day: Wear Red, White and Blue 
May 22nd: Noon Dismissal – No After School Care
May 25th: NO SCHOOL – Memorial Day
June 1st-5th: 🌞PreK Summer Fun Week🌞 (Volunteers Needed for our Water Day)
June 12th: 🎓PreK-3 Graduation Ceremony 10:00am🎓(Children arrive in our classroom at 9:40am)

We loved reading different versions of Jack and the Beanstalk and then counted out and planted our own "magic beans!"
Our caterpillars changed so much this week!!

We did so well participating in The May Crowning from the Children's Room in the Church!
Mrs B. made this incredible Rosary for our school!!
We finished learning Number 9 and are going to learn the LAST NUMBER we learn in PreK-3 this week!!!!
Learning Letter Yy brought tears to our eyes...
WITH SO MUCH YAWNING going on!!!!
The two funny yawning storybooks we read almost put us all to SLEEP!
Our Yawning Y's came out so sleepy!
We did so well on our Y Handwriting!
We did anything but yawn during our last Show and Tell in preK-3!!
