Weekly Recap: We had a very busy week learning and playing in PreK-3! We learned about helicopters, letter Vv, vegetables, made vases, watched our caterpillars transform into chrysalises, had our Vegetable Taste Test and even learned how to record the results onto our very own graphs as well as onto our class graph! We also learned about ways our families take care of us... even making us eat our veggies so we can be healthy and strong!
A Sneak Peak at Our Upcoming Week: We are looking forward to a wonderful week ahead as we explore letter Ww and talk about some of our very favorite people... our mommies! We will also wrap up our last form of transportation in our STEAM Unit... hint, hint: water will be involved!
PreK Fun Week: will take place the week of May 24th. Please refer to the notice that went home through your child's folder on Friday. Also, for Super Hero Day, please use what you have at home. Anyone can be a super hero... front line works have been our SUPER Super Heroes through this pandemic! And princesses are also super... many of them certainly do have some super powers! Use your imaginations when preparing for our fun week! Also, please note that we may have to switch some days around due to the weather so please be flexible with us. There may be a chance that we may need to move our Luau to a nicer day- either Wednesday or Friday depending on the weather. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Please return your permission slips as soon as possible.
PreK-3 Graduation - June 11, 2012: We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation. As of right now, IT WILL BE IN PERSON!!!!!! Of course this is subject to change depending on State and Local Health Department protocols but we are planning on having a live and in person celebration! More information to follow but please mark your calendars. Our special celebration will start at 10:00am sharp in the STS Gym. Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:30 that morning and families will head to the Gym. Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration. We are still working out the number of guests allowed per student. Light refreshments will be provided to enjoy at an appropriate social distance. More details to follow. I am thrilled that we will be allowed to have our graduation this year!!!

Show & Tell: Friday, May 7th: FREE CHOICE WEEK Please bring in one thing that you would like to show and tell our friends about.
