It's really beginning to feel like Summer in PreK-3!

Weekly Recap:   We hope you enjoyed your little author's masterpiece!  The children worked so hard on our Transportation Unit and were so excited to share their books with one another and to finally bring them home to share them with you!

A Sneak Peak at Our Upcoming Week:   We will be working on Xx and Yy this week.  We will also be continuing to learn about the Life Cycle and Plants as well as wrapping up #9.

PreK Fun Week:  will take place the week of May 24th.  Please refer to the notice that went home through your child's folder.  Also, for Super Hero Day, please use what you have at home.  Anyone can be a super hero... front line works have been our SUPER Super Heroes through this pandemic!  And princesses are also super... many of them certainly do have some super powers!  Use your imaginations when preparing for our fun week!  Also, please note that we may have to switch some days around due to the weather so please be flexible with us.  There may be a chance that we may need to move our Luau to a nicer day- either Wednesday or Friday depending on the weather.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.  Please return your permission slips as soon as possible.  

PreK-3 Graduation - June 11, 2021:   Invitations went home on Friday through your child's folder.  More information regarding all the specifics will be coming home shortly.  A reminder that each child is permitted a total of 4 adult guests.  This number includes the child's parents, so if 2 parents will be attending, you may bring 2 additional guests, totaling 4 altogether.  Siblings are unlimited.

Letter of the Week: Xx and Yy

Numbers of the Month: 9 and 10

Color of the Month:  Review of all Colors

Shape of the Month:  Review of all Shapes

STEAM Unit:  Transportation and  Life Cycle
Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Seasons of SPRING and SUMMER, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Mother's Day, Flowers and Insects

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and  "We Sing Our Prayers"

Show & Tell:   Friday, May 21st:  FREE CHOICE WEEK   Please  bring in one thing that you would like to show and tell our friends about.

May 26:  Book Fair  PreK will attend this day but parents are welcome during the HSA meeting

May 24th:  Summer Fun Day in PreK  (please see details sent home in folders)

May 24th - May 28th:  PreK Fun Week  (please return permission slips asap)

May  28th:  NOON DISMISSAL - Memorial Day Weekend - No After School Care

May 31st:  NO SCHOOL - Memorial Day

June 9th:  Last Day of PreK-3 for Three Day Students

June 10th:  Last Day of PreK-3&4 Blended Program for Five Day Students

June 11th:  PreK-3 Graduation 10:00 am (more information to follow)
