Signs of Fall Everywhere! 

Fall Fun Day was THE BEST!

We loved playing outside in the Fall Sunshine!

Adding special touches to our Firefighter scene!

We made beautiful Fall tags for our Fall Trees!

Bouncing the day away!!!

We loved helping to stuff jack-o-lanterns, a scarecrow and a spider too!!

And we LOVED "Hanging Out" on the playground too!!

Our AMAZING Play Dough SMELLED SOOO GOOD!!!!

Our Fall necklaces were so much fun to make and wear too!!

Our Full Week Friends worked on Learning Centers this week!

Our Roxbury Fire Fighter Visit was so cool!

We learned all about all their equipment and trucks too!

We even heard how loud the firefighter breathes when he's using his air tank!  We learned that it is nothing to be scared of if we ever need to be helped by a firefighter.

Giving the masked firefighter a high five was pretty cool too!

We LOVED the Ladder Truck!

Thank you Roxbury Firefighters!  We loved your visit, coloring book set and firefighter hats too!!!

Our Full Week Friends loved our Fall Nature Walk!  We found so many signs of Fall!!

We worked so hard and learned so much this week!

D is for Done but there's lots more fun to come!!!

Weekly Recap:  Have you been hearing some scary songs at home????  Ask your little pumpkin to sing them for you if they haven't already. If they need a prompt, one starts like this, "Stirring and Stirring."  That should get them going!  They've already learned two others as well so you may be hearing them around the house too!   We had SOOOO MUCH FUN at Fall Fun Day!  We used ALL of our senses during our fun filled day!  A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of our volunteers.  We couldn't have done it without you!  A great big Thank You to Mrs. Reed as well for organizing such an amazing day again this year!  Our Fire Fighter Visit was so cool too!  We learned so much from them and really LOVED their two cool trucks!  

A sneak peek at our upcoming week: We will be working on Letter Ee, The Season of Fall, Halloween, Number 2, Triangles and Our Sense of Smell this week.  It's going to be so exciting!

Show and Tell:  Friday, October 21st:  Please bring in ONE item to Show and Tell our friends about.  This will be our first FREE CHOICE WEEK when your child can bring in anything (no theme) they'd like to show their classmates. 

Dates to Remember:

October 21st- Breast Cancer Awareness Tag Day:  Wear Pink!  All funds raised will go to Mary By the Sea in Ocean Grove, NJ.

October 28th- Halloween Tag Day:  8th Grade School Wide Fundraiser- Wear your Halloween Colors!

October 31st- 🎃PreK MORNING Halloween Parade - 11:15am 🎃:  Details come home in the children's folders this week.  Our Parade is separate from the Big School's  AFTERNOON Parade. 

November 11th- NO SCHOOL- Veterans' Day

November 18th- 📷Class Picture Day (group shot) and Picture Retake Day- Wear your BEST SMILE!

November 21-22:  PRESCHOOL will be in full session even though K-8 will have Noon Dismissals for conferences.  Our PreK Conferences will take place in January.

November 22nd, Tuesday⚽⚾- 8th Grade Project Graduation Tag day- Sports Themed 

November 23rd, Wednesday-🦃 NOON DISMISSAL- No After School Care- Thanksgiving Break

November 24th and 25th- NO SCHOOL- Thanksgiving Break

December 9th: 9:00am (Snow Date December 12th) - Save the Date- 🎄PreK Combined Three and Four Year Old Classes Christmas Show🎄  Details coming home soon!
