Leprechaun Trap Recap...

๊œ›As you may recall... We left our Leprechaun Trap set on Friday...๊œ›

AND THEN WE SAW THIS ON MONDAY!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS... WE WERE SO EXCITED!!!!

WHAT A GOLDEN MESS!!!

COULD IT BE?!?!  IS THAT A LEPRECHAUN HAT?!?!?!
Did our TRAP really work?!?!

We couldn't wait to check it all out!!

THE SUSPENSE WAS TOO MUCH!!!!
WE WARMED UP... STRETCHED AND PRACTICED OUR STARES!!!!!
And then...

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

Look what he left us!!!

BE SURE TO ASK YOUR LITTLE MISCHIEF MAKER ALL ABOUT IT!!!!!!!

We weren't done yet though... We all worked together to clean up the Mischievous Leprechaun's MESS!!!

The Leprechaun wasn't the only mischievous one this week!!  Mother Nature was up to some tricky tactics as well with some snowy, rainy, icy, windy, sunny, cloudy and cold days!!  It must have been her nod to PreK-3's Weather Unit Wrap Up!!

We hope you enjoyed reading your published little scientist's Weather Book as much as we enjoyed making them!!

While we are on the topic of Mischief Makers... We started learning about another BIG ONE this week!!
Have you heard of GOLDILOCKS?!?!

We had so much fun differentiating sizes...
BIG, medium and small...
Just like the Three Bears!

Then we made our own Goldilocks!!

And continued our size sort as well...

It was so much fun!
We will be continuing to read different versions of the same story next week!!

We had so much fun learning Little t too!
Ask your little one to make one for you with their bodies!

Then we read a cool book about trees through the seasons and used our fine motor skills to create our own little t tree!

Did you hear about one of our very favorite storybooks???
Duck in a Truck
Our favorite part was when Duck got stuck in the muck!
(ssshhh!!! Don't tell your little one that they were working on rhyming, sequencing and sensory skills!!)

We had SO MUCH FUN playing with our own trucks and muck too!!

And then made our own trucks!!

We made some special loads for our trucks to carry as well!!
(ssshhh!! Don't tell your trucker that they were writing their own stories as well as working on their fine motor development!!)

Our Masterpieces are now on display in our very own Classroom Traffic Jam!!
(Main Street's Gas Line Repair's Jam has got nothing on our traffic situation!)

We extended our Trucking Skills with some Math Patterning Practice...
And we did SO WELL!!!

Speaking of artwork displays...
Here are some of our other masterpieces!!!

Be sure to zoom in to find your own artist's incredible work!

Speaking of Art and Science... We worked on some flowers this week too!!
Ask your little one to tell you about seed pods!!
We cut out our own!!!

And then signed them too!!

We loved painting our flowers too!!

Our finished masterpieces are now on display on our classroom chimney!

Our Five Day Friends LOVED learning the "Tiny Tim" nursery rhyme!!

And had so much fun making their own Tiny Tim Turtles!!

Adding his bubbles was so cool!

We also learned about CONSTRUCTION SITES and CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES and continued to have a blast playing with our MUCK!!!

Our Five Day Friends continued to work on Size Differentiation...

As well as continued to work on their coding skills!!!

And then we were off to the races... making our BeeBots Race, Dance and Spin!!

We had so much fun making playdough creations as well!!

And our Five Day Friends got to meet a real AUTHOR - Jennifer Wilson!!!
We loved her special assembly and her Super J and The Power of Love storybook!!
What a wonderful way to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!

Our Five Day Friends also started to make their own Bears!
They will soon be on display with our Goldilocks Masterpieces!

Indoor Playtime is always so much fun!!

Now let's switch gears to EASTER...
We have been sooooo busy collecting Good Deeds for Lent!
Our Good Deed Baskets are rapidly filling!

Our families really outdid themselves with our Easter Hats (and outfits) this year!!
Look at your AMAZING MASTERPIECES!!!

INCREDIBLE!!!!

๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿฐ ADORABLE!!!๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ’—

Speaking of INCREDIBLE and ADORABLE...
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to our two Incredibly Adorable Room Moms for throwing us an AMAZING EASTER PARTY!!!!

There were crafts...

There were games...

There were songs and dances...

And there was SO MUCH FUN!!!!

And then it was time to line up for our Parade!!
We hope you loved it as much as we did!!
