We had a great first day of school on Friday! Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Selser and I were so impressed with how quickly all the children adjusted to being in their new classroom. Good job prepping them for school moms and dads!!! It is going to be a wonderful school year!!
I may have forgotten to mention at our Orientation that Mrs. Selser will be our Assistant on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Mrs. McDonald will be with our class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We had so much fun on our first day of school painting, playing, coloring, singing, dancing, playing on the playground and of course starting to make new friends!
This week we will be working on our "All About Me" (and each other) Unit! We cannot wait to see what you and your children come up with on your Star Posters for Show and Tell on Friday! We will also continue to learn our new classroom routines. The children are all catching on really quickly already!
FORMS, FORMS, FORMS.... Please be sure to look in the "Parents Page" on our STS Website for important information and forms from the Main Office and Nurse's Office. We have decided to use a paper permission form for your child's photo release instead of the Main Schools K-8 Form. These came home through your child's folder on Friday. Please note that there are 3 different options on our Pre-K form. Please only select the one you wish for your child, write your child's full name on the appropriate line and sign. Please return this form (and all others) to school as soon as possible.
Please LABEL EVERYTHING that belongs to your little one. It is very difficult for us to keep track of what belongs to whom.
Pizza Fridays starts this week for the children who stay full day. It is a completely optional program. If you wish to participate, please send exact change ($2 per slice) to school through your child's folder by either Wednesday or Thursday. Please send pizza money separately for each child you have at STS.
Thank you for returning our school forms so quickly as well as all of your very generous donations of tissues, baby wipes and disinfecting wipes!!

Show and Tell: Friday, September 8th- Please bring in your All About Me Star Poster. We can't wait to learn more about each other! ***PLEASE LABEL WITH YOUR CHILD's NAME***

September 4th- NO SCHOOL - Labor Day
September 7th- 1st-8th Grade Back to School Night- Not for PreK as we had an Orientation instead
October 6th and 9th- NO SCHOOL - Teacher Professional Day & Columbus Day
