Week of December 17, 2018

I hope everyone enjoyed our Christmas Show.  It was so nice to see everyone and to meet your extended family members as well.  I am SO PROUD of all of our PreK-3 Children!   What an amazing job they all did during our Christmas Show!  It takes so much courage to stand in front of a packed room, all the cameras pointed at them and sing.  I know I was feeling the pressure.  I am so impressed by the children's composure!

I would like to thank our two wonderful room parents, Mrs. Mulvihill and Mrs. Gordon, for providing all of the refreshments for the show.  Their continued support for our classroom and children is so truly appreciated!

Gifts of Kindness  Thank you for helping our class gift Baby Jesus with your children's kindness.  They are all very excited to use their kind and caring words and acts to help celebrate the Advent Season.  

PreK Parent/Teacher Conferences will be in January.  Please see the letter sent home in your child's folder and reply with your preferred times.  I will make every effort to accommodate your preferences.  I will be working on a master schedule over Christmas break and will send home your conference time once we resume school in January.

Show & Tell:  There will be NO SHOW AND TELL this week.  We will resume in January.

December 21st:  Noon dismissal for all students

December 24th- January 1st: SCHOOL CLOSED

January 2nd: School Resumes

What a kind class we have!  Thank you for helping to encourage your children to perform kind deeds at home as well as at school.  We love reading about all their kind and caring acts and sharing them with the rest of the class!

Gifts of Kindness  Thank you for helping our class gift Baby Jesus with your children's kindness.  They are all very excited to use their kind and caring words and acts to help celebrate the Advent Season.

PreK-3 Christmas Show 9:00 - Children arrive in the Church lobby with their families at 8:50 and are dismissed to their parents immediately following the show.  Light refreshments will be served during a small reception following the performance.  Children should dress in their Holiday Best.

PreK-3 has been a busy, busy place these last few days and will continue to be so in the upcoming weeks!  So much to do and so little time!  It is certainly "Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" in our Learning Center!   Hope you've been hearing lots of humming and singing at home.  We are all so excited to perform our songs for you!
