πΈ Here's A Little Snap Shot of Our WeekπΈ
It is EXTRA SPECIAL when two friends share the SAME BIRTHDAY!!!
And it is extra, extra fabulous to be the first two friends to turn FOUR in our class!!

We loved learning all about our Class Pumpkin!
Be sure to ask your little scientist if it was heavy or light to hold!
And be sure to ask your little horticulturist to describe how it felt too!!
Did you know that pumpkins have RIBS?!?!
Once we were done with our pumpkin weights... it was time for other pumpkin measurements!
And in Preschool that calls for string and cubes!!!
Hard to get more scientific than that!!
Then we took our Preschool Civic Duties very seriously as we held our FIRST CLASS ELECTION!!!
Much like real life, there were two candidates per category...
And the results were in relatively quickly!!
Then we moved onto the DISSECTION!!!
(AKA: Pumpkin Carving!!)
We were very, very brave as we dug in to make even more discoveries!!!
And as with all scientific breakthroughs...
There was a naming process and a photograph with all scientists involved!
Isn't "Orange,Orange, Pumpkin Patch" the absolute cutest?!?!
Then like all scientists do...
We recorded our findings in our Scientific Journals!!
We also checked into other possible scenarios on our Learning Board only to reaffirm that our combination of Upside Down Triangle Eyes, Circular Nose and Two Toothed Smile are the very BEST!!!
Our Five Day Friends continued the fun...
Ssssshhhh!!! Don't tell them they were reviewing their shapes!!!
We had so much fun learning Letter F!
We loved learning about Foxes and turning our F's into them!!
We loved reading a really sweet storybook about a Fox "making" Friends!
Ask your friendly little "friend-maker" all about it!
Our Five Day Friends learned that F is for Feathers too!!!
f is for frog!
And since we read and learned the "Five Green and Speckled Frogs" storybook and song...
We "SPECKLED" our frogs too!!!
(sssshhhh... Don't tell your little mathematician that they were learning subtraction skills while working on this multidiscipline lesson involving music, science, math, language arts, sequencing, art and fine motor development skills!)
Be sure to ask your little herpetologist to teach you some cool froggy facts too!!
We jump started one of our November crafts this week...
Stay tuned to find out what we are going to turn these into!!!
