🐰We loved our Easter Hat Parade!🐰

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will be wrapping up our Transportation Unit and kicking off our Life Cycle Unit!  We will be working on our Graduation Songs so get ready to hear lots of singing around the house!! (Don't be alarmed if you are hearing songs about apples, pumpkins, witches and jingle bells!!!  Our Graduation Show will be a "review" of songs we've learned throughout the school year!!)

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, Lent, Easter, God made the Earth, Protecting God's Creatures, and Taking Care of Our World

April STEAM Units:  Transportation and Life Cycle

Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Signs of SPRING, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Earth Day 

Show & Tell:  Friday, May 2nd - FREE CHOICE WEEK!!

NEW DATE!!  -  Thursday, May 8th: Field Trip to 📚The Roxbury Public Library 📚(A Few Parent Volunteers will be needed to accompany our class.  Please see details that came home through your child's folder.)

Sweet Honey Bunnies!

Everyone did such a Great Job on our Easter Hats!!

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to our two Room Moms for such a wonderful Easter Party!!

We had so much fun!!

Thank you to all of our families for helping us with our Egg Hunt too!!

We did such a great job on our Easter Math Centers this week!!

Ww is for our World!

We learned that God Made the World!

And that it is our job to help take good care of it and everything and everyone living on it!!

We did so well on our Earth Day Game!

We are getting so good at using our scissors!!

And getting so good at doing BIG KID school work too!!!

I was so impressed by how well our Afternoon  Friends colored their airplanes - INDEPENDENTLY!!!!

We were so excited to collect our "Good Deeds" and place them into our special Easter Eggs!

Ww is for Watermelon!!

We had so much fun "weighing" it and deciding if we thought it was light or heavy!!

Some of us thought it was pretty light...

and others of us thought quite the OPPOSITE!!!

We "dissected" our watermelon and even learned  FRACTIONS and DIVISION in the process!!!

We really do have some pretty smart SCIENTISTS and MATHEMATICISANS in our class!!!

We finished off the week finally PLAYING OUTSIDE again!!!
