Happy Birthday to our SWEET FRIEND!!!

Did you know that Y is for yawn?!?!

And did you know that they are contagious?!?!

We learned another Nursery Rhyme this week!!

Ask your little literary analyst to recite "Jack and Jill" for you!!

We cut out the nursery rhyme pieces and put them in the correct sequential order!

We are working on yet another BIG SURPRISE during this Unit!!

I can't believe this was our very last Show and Tell this school year!!!

Our public speaking skills have come a long way this year!!

Making our butterflies was so cool!

Our handy artwork is now gracing our classroom walls!

Only one number left to learn after this week!!!

We did such a great job on our caterpillar patterns!!

Y is for YOGA!!

Our watercolor butterflies came out beautifully!

They will soon be fluttering about in our classroom!

"Y" turned out to be a funny letter this week... Ask your little comedian "Y"????

We were actually able to get outside between the rain storms this week!

We did such a beautiful  job assembling our name flowerpots!!

We loved learning our last form of transportation and finishing up our STEAM Unit by publishing our Transportation Books!!  We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed creating them!

We are doing so well writing our letters!

We loved the book The Tiny Seed  by Eric Carle and had so much fun making our own Flowers!!

Our "Jack and the Beanstalk" beanstalks are growing sooooo quickly!!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will be busy bees this week continuing to work on our Life Cycle Unit as well as celebrating all of our incredible mommies!  We will also be learning our LAST LETTER - Letter Zz!!!

PreK Fun in the Sun Week:  will take place between Wednesday, May 24th and Wednesday, May 31st.  This is a combined PreK-3 and PreK-4 event!  We will be hosting a PreK Prom, an Art in the Park Day, an Under the Sea Day, a Zoo Animal Day and a Schoolwide Field Day!! Details and a food permission slip came home through your child's folder on Monday.  Please note that we may have to switch some days around due to the weather so please be flexible with us.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.  Please return your permission slip as soon as possible.  Also, we are looking for volunteers to help us set up and run stations on our Art in the Park Day as well as our Under the Sea Day.  If you are available to help us with either day, please let me know.  We will also be sending out a Sign Up Genius with some items we will be needing during our fun week.  We greatly appreciate any donations of time and supplies you are willing to make!  Thank you so much for your help!

PreK-3 Graduation - June 6, 2023:  We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation, "The Preschool Review" where we will take a trip down our PreK-3 Memory Lane singing a song or reciting a poem for each of the months we were in school!  Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:40 that morning and families will head to the Gym in the Main Building.  Our Performance will begin promptly at 10:00am and will be followed by light refreshments.  Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration.  Our Graduation will take approximately 60-90 minutes.  More details to follow.

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and  "We Sing Our Prayers"

June 6th:  PreK-3 Graduation at 10:00am (more details to follow)
