WE LOVE PLAYING OUTSIDE!!!

School is really sooooo coooool!!

Sensational Sand!!!

We had a Blast with Bubbles!

Fishy Friday Fun!

We Loved The Pout Pout Fish!

Fishy Math was so cool too!!

We are getting so GOOD at Color By Number Activities!!

We loved making our "Baa Baa Black Sheep!"

And we did an amazing job sequencing the Nursery Rhyme!

As well as cutting out the sequencing pieces!

We did so well painting our Summer Trees and drawing our Summer Pictures too!!

We loved working on our Father's Day Surprises!  We hope our Daddies LOVED them!!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will be kicking off our Fun in the Sun Week as well as learning about Summer, working on Nursery Rhymes and rehearsing for our Preschool Graduation!!

Thank You and Volunteers Needed:  A great BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has signed up to volunteer or to donate something towards our Fun Week and/or towards our Graduation Refreshments.  Your help is so truly appreciated!  We are still looking for volunteers for our Thursday 5/25 Art in the Park Day and our Friday 5/26 Under the Sea Water Day.  Please let me know if you would like to help out either of those mornings.  We would need your help from about 9:00 to 11:30/12:00.

PreK Fun in the Sun Week:  will take place between Wednesday, May 24th and Wednesday, May 31st.  This is a combined PreK-3 and PreK-4 event!  We will be hosting a PreK Prom on 5/24, an Art in the Park Day on 5/25, an Under the Sea Day on 5/26, a Zoo Animal Day on 5/30 and a Schoolwide Field Day on 5/31!! Details and a food permission slip came home through your child's folder.  Please note that we may have to switch some days around due to the weather so please be flexible with us.  I will be in touch through email with reminders and/or day switches should the weather not cooperate.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

White T-Shirts:  Please send in your child's white field day t-shirt if you received it with an older sibling's order or a plain white t-shirt if you did not order one through school.  We are planning on tie dyeing them as one of our Art in the Park stations this week.  Once they are tie dyed, we will be sending them home for you to wash.  Please have your child wear their t-shirt to school on Wednesday, May 31st for our Field Day Fun!!  

PreK-3 Graduation - June 6, 2023:  We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation, "The Preschool Review" where we will take a trip down our PreK-3 Memory Lane singing a song or reciting a poem for each of the months we were in school!  Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:40 that morning and families will head to the Gym in the Main Building.  Our Performance will begin promptly at 10:00am and will be followed by light refreshments.  Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration.  Our Graduation will take approximately 60-90 minutes.  An invitation and details came home through your child's folder.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Shape of the Month:  Review of all Shapes

STEAM Units:  Transportation and  Life Cycle
Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Seasons of SPRING and SUMMER, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Flowers and Insects, Life Cycle

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and  "We Sing Our Prayers"

Dates to Remember: 

May 24th-May 31st:  PreK Fun in the Sun Week (Please see above as well as the notice that came home)

May 26th:  Noon Dismissal (No After School Care)

May 29th:  NO SCHOOL:  Memorial Day

May 30th: Schoolwide HSA Kona Ice Treat (Full Week Students: please return your permission slip asap)

May 31st: Wear your Tie Dye T-shirt for our Schoolwide Field Day (PreK-8th Grade)

June 5th:  Last Day of PreK

June 6th:  PreK-3 Graduation at 10:00am - Children arrive at 9:40 (details came home through your child's folder)
