I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I am so excited to start the New Year off with your sweet angels! It's going to be a fun few months ahead!!
A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week: We will be hitting the ground running in the new year!!! We will be kicking off our STEAM Unit on Weather with an "in depth" study of SNOW as well as learning about Winter and Hibernation this week. We will also be starting our first author study in Language Arts as well as learning The Pledge of Allegiance in Social Studies and starting Calendar Math!
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be from Tuesday, January 20th through Friday, January 23rd. Please check your email for more information and the Sign Up Genius link to choose your time slot. If you did not receive the link via email, please reach out to me asap so I can resend it. Please note that some conferences will take place in our classroom and others will be in the St Therese Church Office which is right down the hall from the Church entrance, just past the restrooms.
Donation Request:
We are asking for donations of baby wipes as we are starting to run low. We would appreciate any you would be willing to donate. The children use them throughout the day to clean their hands so we go through lots of them on a daily basis. We are still well stocked on tissues and disinfecting wipes thanks to everyone's generosity at the start of the school year. Thank you!!
Update on my son:
Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts. Andrew's surgery was successful and he recovered quickly. He is doing well, back to all of his normal activities and heading back to college a week from now without any medications or restrictions. He's going to be closely monitored by his doctors in the coming months but his doctors feel confident that they were able to fully correct his heart condition. I am so grateful to his incredible medical team, to everyone who prayed for him and most of all to God for watching over him. Thank youππ
