A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  FUN in the SUN WEEK is finally here!!!!

🎓🏫PreK-3 Graduation - June 6, 2025:  We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation, "The Preschool Review" where we will take a trip down our PreK-3 Memory Lane singing a song or reciting a poem for each of the months we were in school!  Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:40 that morning and families will head to the Gym in the Main Building.  Our Performance will begin promptly at 10:00am and will be followed by light refreshments.  Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration.  Our Graduation will take approximately 60-90 minutes.  More details to follow.

Letter of the Week:  Letter Review

Numbers of the Month: 9 and 10

Color of the Month:  Review of all Colors

Shape of the Month:  Review of all Shapes

STEAM Unit: Life Cycle
Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Seasons of SPRING and SUMMER, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Flowers and Insects, Life Cycle

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and  "We Sing Our Prayers"

May 23rd:  Noon Dismissal for the entire school.  No after school care available.

May 28th:  🏃🏃🏃STS Schoolwide Field Day PreK-8th Grade (Rain date 5/30)

June 2nd:  Possible Water Day rain date

June 5th:  Last day of Preschool 😢

June 6th at 10:00am: 🎓PreK-3 Graduation!!🎓

WE FINALLY DID IT!!!

We got to the very last letter in PreK-3!!

Ask your little zoologist all about it!

Making our Zebras' stripes was our favorite part!!

Number 9 was so cool to learn!

It was all of our fingers except for one thumb!!

Our little gardeners LOVED planting flowers in our Class Planter on our Playground!!

We loved flexing our "GREEN THUMBS" this week!!

Be sure to ask your little botanist what our plants will need to grow!!

Don't forget to ask them what the MOST IMPORTANT thing is too!!

We cut out our own character cards and then sorted them onto our Jack and The Beanstalk "Game Boards!"

Our Scissor and Sorting Skills are getting soooooo goooood!!!!

We can't wait to see what's going to happen to our "Magic Beans!"

Bees were all the BUZZZZZZZZ in our class this week!

Our Five Day Friends loved learning about Ladybugs this week!!

We did so well on our ladybug scissor challenge!!

Our masterpieces are on temporary loan in our classroom gallery! 

Ladybug spot counting was pretty cool!!

Zoo Animal Math Games were so much fun!

Our Final PreK-3 Show and Tell 😢

I am so proud of how well our little Public Speaker's presentation skills have developed this school year!!

I missed our sweet friends the last few days... I was at my son's college graduation!  It feels like just yesterday that he was graduating from preschool and now look!!  Enjoy every second of these precious few years with your little munchkins!!  When people tell you that it flies by, they are actually underestimating the speed of time!!
