We LOVE getting our hands dirty in PreK-3!!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:  We will be be learning Letter Vv, learning about eating the rainbow, learning the parts of a flower, continuing to work on our Transportation STEM Unit and kicking off some of our April Themes!!!

🐇🐰Easter Hat Parade🐰🐇 - April 11th at 11:15am:  Easter is in April this year and so is our Annual PreK Easter Hat Celebration!  Time to get out the Peeps, plastic eggs, flowers, bunny ears and your hot glue gun!!  It's your time to shine in creating the most amazing Easter Hat with your little honey bunny!  You can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like.  I'm sure your little cutie will be proud to wear whatever you create together!  Please see the notice coming home soon in your child's folder for more details.

Show & Tell:  Friday, April 4th:   FREE CHOICE WEEK  Please bring in one item to SHOW and TELL our friends about.

April 7th: 🖍PreK-3, PreK-4 and Kindergarten Family Field Trip to The Crayola Experience

April 11th: 🐇🐰PreK Easter Hat Parade and Egg Hunt 11:15 (Please see details that came home through your child's folder)

April 14th:  Rain/Snow date for Easter Hat Parade and Egg Hunt

 

April 17th: Noon Dismissal NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE

April 18th- April 25th: No School - Good Friday and Easter Break

April 28th: School Reopens

NEW DATE!!  -  Thursday, May 8th: Field Trip to 📚The Roxbury Public Library 📚(A Few Parent Volunteers will be needed to accompany our class.  Please see details that came home through your child's folder.)

May 19th - May 23rd: Summer Fun Week:  Stay tuned for more details.  Here's a sneak peek at our daily themes and tentative dates for this year's festivities: Our very own Pre-K PROM 5/19 or 5/23 rain date swap , Art in the Park Day 5/20 or 5/22 rain date swap, Animal Day 5/21, Patriotic Red, White and Blue Day 5/22 and Water Day 5/23 or 5/19 rain date swap!!!!

May 28th:  STS Schoolwide Field Day PreK-8th Grade (Rain date 5/30)

June 6th at 10:00am: 🎓PreK-3 Graduation!!🎓

CHOO-CHOO... Our little engineers loved learning all about trains this week!

Then we prepared our skies for another type of transportation!!

Our little scientists practiced our coding skills with our Bee Bots this week too!!

We practiced our counting skills by adding freight onto our train cars!

We worked on our raindrops (and fine motor skills too)!!
