Our Week in Photos:
📸 Here's A Little Snap Shot of Our Week📸
Our Weather Reporters did so well on their forecasts!
Don't ask too many questions...
This is the first step in a craft coming home on St Patrick's Day!!!
We learned all about WINDY WEATHER and made our own gusts!!
Ask your little tornado what was easiest to blow...
a cube, a pompom or a feather?!?!
Once we were all warmed up, we HIT THE WINDY RACETRACK!!!
Be sure to ask your meteorologist all about it!!!
Our Pinwheels were really cool to experiment with too!!
Then we were blown away by another wind source!!
It was sooooo "COOL!!!"
Then we hit the open (classroom) skies with a little Mary Poppins' "Let's Go Fly a Kite!"
It was a perfect WINDY day to bring home our masterpieces!!
We made some amazing first signs of spring discoveries!!
We learned that spotting Robins in our area is one of them!
So of course, we started making our own!
This is the first step in our Robin Craft as well as the first time we used two colors to paint at the same time!!! We are getting SO GOOD at following complicated multistep directions!!
We loved making our own Spring Trees too!
S is for Seven!!
S is for scissors too!!
S is for special skills!!
We used our scissor skills to complete a special spring Religion lesson too!
Ss is for silly fun with shaving cream too!!
Ss is for Spring tags with our skinny markers!!
Ss is for such a special claSS!!!
Ss is also for our Special Surprise visit from Father Jun!!
Ss is for our Special Seuss Wreath!! Thank you so much E. Family and your SUPER Minnie for such a spectacular surprise!!
I LOVE IT!!!!
Then we switched gears to Letter Tt!!
T is for Tigers!!
Our Five Day Friends LOVED using our Droppers for a special Rainbow Art Craft!!
SSSHHH!!! Don't tell them they were working on their fine motor skills!!
And then we had the most fun time making our blow art WINDY masterpieces!!!
After getting a bit "winded" we switched gears to painting our very special spring rainbow art birdhouses!!
Again, some more fine motor skill development with our super skinny paint brushes!!
We are getting so good at solving our Name Puzzles!!
Show and Tell is ALWAYS SUCH A BIG HIT!!
We did so well cutting out our hardest challenge yet!!
Can you guess what we used it for???
OUR LUCKY LEPRECHAUNS!!!
We did so well sharing our special stories with the class too!
Our Public Speaking Skills are so impressive!!
We learned that to catch a leprechaun you have to hold his stare!!
So we PRACTICED in front of our mirror!!!
I think you will agree that with these stares our odds are very good!!
We borrowed the Dobres Kids' Leprechaun Trap (almost 20 years old now 😢)
added our special stickers to it
and SET IT!!!!
STAY TUNED to find out if we can catch our own LEPRECHAUN!!!
🌈🍀Happy St. Patrick's Day!!🍀🌈
Hope you have a very lucky week!
Paula Dobres
