Pre-K3: Week of January 13, 2025

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week: We will be continuing to work on our January themes with a focus on Letter Mm, Dressing for the Weather, Sunny Days, Winter and Number 5!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be from Tuesday, January 21st through Thursday, January 23rd. Please check your email for more information and the Sign Up Genius link to choose your time slot. If you did not receive the link via email, please reach out to me asap so I can resend it. Please note that some conferences will take place in our classroom and others will be in the St Therese Church Office which is right down the hall from the Church entrance, just past the restrooms.

Donation Request:
We are asking for donations of disinfecting wipes as we are starting to run low. We would appreciate any you would be willing to donate. Thank you! We are still well stocked on tissues and baby wipes thanks to everyone's generosity at the start of the school year.

January Themes: Counting 0-5, Sorting, AB Patterns, Feelings, Winter, Weather, Hibernation, Name Recognition, Name Writing, Scissor Skills
Religion: Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Praying for Others

Show & Tell: Friday, January 17th: BLACK and WHITE WEEK (our colors of the month) - Please bring in one black or white or one black and white item to show and tell our friends about.

January 13th: Dress Down Day to raise funds for the former STS family who suffered a house fire

January 13th-17th: PRIORITY REGISTRATION begins for the 2025-2026 School Year for current STS Families
January 20th: NO SCHOOL Martin Luther King Jr Day
January 21st-23rd: PreK Conferences (Please see email that came home in December with a Sign up Genius.)
January 24th: Eighth Grade Project Graduation Tag Day: Sports Day!
January 26th: STS Catholic Schools Week Begins (Please see details on your Parent Square Account for specific activities and themes for dress down days)

Snow was all the rage in PreK-3 this week!

We had so much fun turning our classroom into a Winter Wonderland!!

We also worked hard on our zipping skills!

We used our special Prayer Flower to pray for others...

We also started dressing our Weather Bear for the Weather outside!!

L is for Lion!

We loved making our cool snow people!

And then we made it snow on them!!

They are now on display in our classroom gallery!

We learned all about Hedgehogs and what they do in the Winter!!

Then we started a very special craft!!

Our Five Day Friends were treated to a very special guest...
my daughter, Katie! She had so much fun with our little munchkins and really helped us out with some special crafts!!
