Weekly Recap:

I am so proud of all of our little PreK Performers! Getting up on stage is never easy for anyone and getting up on stage for the very first time in front of such a large audience had to be extra challenging for our three and four year olds! They all did so well! I hope you all enjoyed our show and left STS with some Christmas cheer in your hearts.

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:

We will be learning Letter Jj and Number 4, kicking off our Gingerbread Unit, working on our Name Recognition and gifting Baby Jesus gifts of kindness.

Gifts of Kindness Please read through the information that came home through your child's folder regarding our PreK-3 Gifts of Kindness campaign taking place throughout this beautiful Advent Season. Please try to catch your little one performing acts of kindness either with kind deeds or kind words. Then please send brief notes into school through your child's folder. We will be reading them aloud to our class on Fridays. We need your help to fill our kindness gift box!!

We started off the week working on our name recognition skills... We loved finding our name stars and decorating our attendance tree with them!

Then we decorated our own classroom Christmas Tree with real ORNAMENTS!!!

Our room is starting to look so festive!!!

We had so much fun making and PAINTING Candy Cane Patterns!

We loved making snowy trees for our Hallway Gallery!

Our Five Day Friends loved using Christmas Cookie Cutters to make their playdough masterpieces!

Our Afternoon Friends LOVED playing Dress Up!!

We finished up our Fall Unit with a fun "writing" activity!

We learned all about iguanas and made our own "Letter i iguanas!"

We learned that Ii is for INSTRUMENTS too!!

We loved playing different types of instruments and marching in our very own PreK-3 Marching Band!!!

We love our Icky Sticky Bubblegum Movement fun!!
