H is for Happy Faces!

(and tracing Hands too!!)

A Sneak Peek at our Week:  We will continue practicing for our Big Show, work on Letter Hh, continue to learn about The First Thanksgiving, continue to learn about the real meaning of Christmas as well as our other November themes! 


 This Week's Focus will be on:

Letter of the Week: Finish Letter Hh and Letter Review Aa-Hh
Number of the Month:  3
Color of the Month: Brown
Shape of the Month: Square

November Themes:  Signs of Fall, Counting 0-3, Sorting, AB Patterns, Thanksgiving, Families, Sharing
Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, Thankfulness, "My Family Cares For Me" and "We are all a part of God's Family"

Show & Tell:  No Show and Tell this week 

Dates to Remember:

November 25-26:  PRESCHOOL will be in full session even though K-8 will have Noon Dismissals for conferences.  Our PreK Conferences will take place in January.  ****Please let me know ahead of time if you will be taking home your full day student during noon dismissal.****


November 27th: NOON DISMISSAL (No After Care)
November 28-29: NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break 

December 3rd: πŸŽ„πŸŽ…Santa Shop:  It will take place on a TUESDAY so if our Three Day Friends would like to participate, they are welcome to come in with a family member at any time during the sale.  Our Five Day Friends will be shopping as a class on that day. 

December 6th 10:00am:  πŸŽ…πŸŽ„PreK-3 and 4 Combined Christmas ShowπŸŽ„πŸŽ…Please note that this is a noon dismissal day for the entire school.  Your child will be coming in at 9:30am and will be dismissed directly to you following our performance.  There will be NO Before or After Care for PreK-3 since the teachers will be setting up and cleaning up from our special day.  Please refer to the back side of the invitation sent home for all of our pertinent details for the day.

December 20th: NOON DISMISSAL (No After Care)
UPDATED CALENDAR:    December 23-January 3rd: NO SCHOOL - Christmas Break
January 6, 2025:  SCHOOL REOPENS!!!

We learned so much about The First Thanksgiving this week!


We also continued to learn about the real reason for the Christmas Season!

Our masterpieces are now dazzling our classroom skies and will soon be adorning our Concert Stage too!!

Mrs. Selser and I are so thankful for your sweet little angels and so incredibly grateful that we get to spend our days with each and every one of them.  Thank you for sharing your little angels with us and entrusting us with their care.  They bring us so much joy each and every day!  We would like to wish all of our families a very Happy Thanksgiving.πŸ’—πŸ¦ƒ
