A Sneak Peek at our Week: We will be practicing for our Big Show, finishing up Letter Gg and Starting Hh, learning about The First Thanksgiving, working on squares as well as our other November themes.

"My Family Cares For Me" and "We are all a part of God's Family"Show & Tell: No Show and Tell this week due to the short week and class photos on Friday...

November 11th: NO SCHOOL - Veteran's Day
November 15th: ๐ธClass Picture Day and Retake Day (Remember to wear your biggest smile!!)
November 20th: ๐Literati Book Fair ๐- PreK Shopping Day (Only those shopping will attend.)
November 25-26: PRESCHOOL will be in full session even though K-8 will have Noon Dismissals for conferences. Our PreK Conferences will take place in January.
November 27th: NOON DISMISSAL (No After Care)
November 28-29: NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break

Santa Shop: It will take place on a TUESDAY so if our Three Day Friends would like to participate, they are welcome to come in with a family member at any time during the sale. Our Five Day Friends will be shopping as a class on that day. I do not have times yet but will update here once I do.

๐PreK-3 and 4 Combined Christmas Show๐๐
Please note that this is a noon dismissal day for the entire school. Your child will be coming in later than usual and will be dismissed directly to you following our performance. There will be NO Before or After Care for PreK-3 since the teachers will be setting up and cleaning up from our special day. Details will be coming home soon.

Our Hand Turkeys are now on display in our classroom!!
We took a Field Trip to our beautiful St Therese Church this week!
Father Jun and Mrs. McDonald helped us walk over!
A big thank you to them and to Officer Feeney for helping us cross our parking lot too!
We all blessed ourselves with Holy Water and then Father Jun taught us so much about our beautiful Church.
We all said a special prayer for someone we love and lit a candle for them too!
We learned all about the pews and kneelers too!

After we got back to our classroom, it was time to say goodbye to Miss Pumpkin. We read a special storybook about a field mouse who turned a discarded jack-o-lantern in the woods into a home for the winter. We hope ours helps a little critter as well. Bye Miss Pumpkin...
We did so well learning Number 3!!
Our Afternoon Friends have been doing so well on our Learning Board Games!!
What a fun way to reinforce our learning skills!!
Playing Outside has been so much fun!!
Sometimes we need to stop for a little rest out there too!!
Our Five Day Friends took part in our Schoolwide Presidential Election on Tuesday!!
First we voted for our favorite candidate...
Then we headed off to the Ballot Box!
It was so much fun to take part in the democratic process!!
A great big thank you to Miss Murray and her third grade class for including us!!
After reading a beautiful Scarecrow story, our Five Day Friends had so much fun reviewing triangles and making really cool triangle crows!!
We did so well on our F Handwriting!!
We had so much fun turning Little f into a frog too!!
After reading The Leaf Thief, we headed outside to find our very own leaves to investigate!
We searched and found the most beautiful leaves!
Then we painted our own leaves while playing a fun painting game!!
They are now on display in our classroom!

We did so well on our Five Senses Wrap-Up Activity!!!
And then we used all of our senses to POP popcorn!!!
It was so exciting!!!
Then we used our Sense of Taste to eat it!!!!
It was SO YUMMY!!!!!
