WOW  WEEK!

Can you Believe it?!?!  We actually watched two of our butterflies emerge from their chrysalises!!!  WOW!!!  It is so rare to actually get to see this miracle happen in real time!!

WE WERE SO EXCITED!!!!!

WOW, WERE WATER EXPERIMENTS FUN!!!!

One of our little public speakers even brought in a Narwhal Whale that we learned about earlier in the week!!!

Ask your little scientist whether our watermelon was heavy or light, smooth or bumpy, cold or warm and best of all delicious or not!!!!!!

We counted 9 seeds on our watermelon slices!  They are currently drying in our classroom and will be coming home on Monday.

Our Watermelon Taste Test was a THUMBS UP for EVERYONE!!!  WOW!!

Most of our taste testers even wanted seconds!!!

Weekly Recap:  WOW!!  What an exciting week: whales, watermelons, water experiments and learning to spell our first three letter word!!!  Be sure to ask your little scientist all about it!!!

A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week:   We are so excited for our class trip this week!!  We will be learning letter Xx as well as working on flowers and butterflies this week.

PreK Summer Fun Week:  will take place the week of June 6th.  Details came home through your child's folder.  Please note that we may have to switch some days around due to the weather so please be flexible with us.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.  Please return your permission slips as soon as possible.  We are also looking for Volunteers for our Under the Sea Water Day.

PreK-3 Graduation - June 13, 2022:  We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation! Children will arrive in our classroom at 9:40 that morning and families will head to the Gym in the Main Building.  Children will be dismissed to their families right after the celebration.  More details to follow.  I am thrilled that we will be allowed to have our graduation in person and on stage this year!!!

Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Seasons of SPRING and Summer, Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, Mother's Day, Flowers and Insects

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Praying for someone you care about, "We Love Mary" and  "We Sing Our Prayers"

Show & Tell:   Friday, May 20th:   FREE CHOICE WEEK  Please bring in one thing that you would like to show and tell our friends about.

May 18th:  PreK-3, PreK-4 and Kindergarten Combined Class Trip:  Information coming home through your child's folder on Monday

May 27th:  NOON DISMISSAL- Memorial Day Weekend - NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE

May 30th:  NO SCHOOL- Memorial Day

June 6th- June 10th:  Summer Fun Week in PreK  (Please refer to your notice)

June 10th:  Last Day of PreK

June 13th:  PreK-3 Graduation 10:00am (details to follow)
