Happy Birthday to our sweet friend!!!
Weekly Recap: We LOVED the stories The Best Nest and The Napping House! They were some of our favorites so far this year! Making our our Nests was so fun! We also loved making our Napping n's night sky! We worked on rainy and sunny weather and had an absolute BLAST getting to play outside FINALLY!!!
A Sneak Peek at Our Upcoming Week: WE WILL BE CELEBRATING VALENTINE"S DAY on Monday!!! Please remember to send in your child's Valentine's Cards as well as to dress your little lovey in Valentine's colors on Valentine's Day - 2/14. We will be continuing to work on our Weather STEAM Unit this week, as well as learning about Presidents' Day and Dental Health.
Mrs. McDonald Update: Thank you so much for all of your prayers and concern regarding Mrs. McDonald's medical leave. She is recovering well from her injury and hopes to return to our class towards the end of March. In the meantime, we are in wonderful hands with Mrs. Kudron helping us for the remainder of Mrs. McDonald's leave. We are so blessed to have both of these phenomenal women's helping hands with our little sweethearts. We are truly BLESSED! 🙏🙏🙏
Valentine's Day: We will be celebrating Valentine's Day in PreK-3 on Monday, February 14th. We will be exchanging Valentine's Day Cards in school. Please send in one card per child with only your own child's name on each as the from whom the card is and not the name for whom it is intended. This will make distribution much easier as the children are only just beginning to recognize each other's names. We have 12 children in our class. The children can either make their own little cards or they may be purchased. That is entirely up to you. Please do not send in Valentines with food or candy as we have children with allergies in our school. Your children may begin to bring in their cards whenever they are ready up through our celebration day on the 14th. This little homework idea is completely optional: you may want to take this opportunity to have your child write their first initial (or full name if they are able to) on each of their cards and then finish the rest of their name for him/her.
