We had such a fun week learning all about ourselves as well as one another! We have been working hard on a special surprise that the children will be bringing home on Monday. Be sure to have your little author and illustrator share it with you (HINT, HINT!)!
The children all did such a wonderful job sharing their amazing Super Star Posters with one another! They were so excited to see similarities between each other and to see their posters on display in our classroom! Everyone did such a great job coming up with a poster as unique as their children!
We also had a blast reading and acting out one of our favorite books, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and learning about our names and initial letters!
This week we will begin our Letter of the Week curriculum with letter Aa. We will also be starting our STEM Unit on The Five Senses and learning about number 0! Be sure to ask your child all about it!
On Friday, September 25th, the STS Eighth Graders will be hosting a school wide Tag Day for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to benefit our friend, Melanie Walsh, Maddox's sister. Please help support this incredible cause by having your child wear gold or yellow and making $1 donations.

If you haven't done so already, please return all of your forms to school as soon as possible and thank you for all of your generous donations of tissues and wipes! They will certainly be coming in very handy this year.

(Airplane, angel, photo of someone whose name starts with letter A, apple, astronaut, ape, alligator, ant, Auntie, arm, artist, avocado, alphabet, etc. If you cannot find something at home, you can always print a picture of something to send in.)***PLEASE LABEL WITH YOUR CHILD's NAME***
