A great big welcome to Adriana, our new student who joined our class this week! I am so incredibly proud of all our PreK-3 students. They have all welcomed Adriana with open arms and have been so kind and considerate with helping her adjust to all of our classroom routines. It is such a testament to the incredible parents we have in our classroom. Kudos to you all for raising such an amazing group of children! I am sure that Adriana and her family will begin to feel right at home in no time at all!
We had lots of fun in PreK-3 learning about the letter Tt this week. The children loved learning true facts about Tigers, Trains and Trees! We read "real" and "make-believe" books about each. We really loved learning the old nursery rhyme, "Down by the Station," and pretending to be a real train choo-choo-ing around our classroom. We also made some spectacular AB pattern trains using our cubes.
We are really looking forward to our Easter Hat Parade and Egg Hunt this Friday! I can't wait to see everyone's special hats!! Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather!!!
We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation in June. Once I have a confirmed date and time I will let you know as soon as possible so you can plan accordingly.
