Week of April 28, 2019

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and Spring Break.  Hope you were able to spend some quality time with those you love and get some much needed rest and relaxation with your sweet little ones.

We are going to hit the ground running with so much left to learn with just a little over a month of school left!    This week's main focus will be on letter Ww, number review and recognition, the life cycle, protecting our planet and practicing for our Graduation.

*****SAVE THE DATE:  JUNE 7, 2019 ***** We are in the process of planning our PreK-3 Graduation scheduled for the morning of June 7th.  Once I have a confirmed time I will let you know as soon as possible so you can plan accordingly.

This Week's Focus will be on:

Letter of the Week: Ww

Numbers of the Month: 8 and 9

Color of the Month:  Purple and Review of all Colors

Shape of the Month:  Rectangle and Review of all Shapes

STEAM Unit:  The Life Cycle and Protecting the Environment
Themes for the Month:  Counting, Graphing, Name Writing, Scissor Skills, Opposites, Rhyming, Signs of SPRING, Nursery Rhymes, Flowers, Insects, Earth Day, Mother's Day 

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace Before Meals, Lent, Easter,  "God made the Earth" 

Show & Tell:  Free Choice Week  Bring in anything you'd like to show and tell our Prek-3 friends about. 

Dates to Remember: 

May 15th- Land of Make Believe Trip (Rain date of May 17th)
June 7th - PreK-3 Graduation
