Our Week in Photos:
๐ธHere's A Little Snap Shot of Our Week๐ธ
We started off the week celebrating our incredible world!!
Our little conservationists sorted things that help and things that hurt our Earth.
Then we worked on a similar activity in our Scholastic Magazines...
And learned all about how God made our beautiful world and how we need to help take care of it as well as all of God's amazing creatures!
We finished our Worlds...
They came out so beautifully!!
Then we put our love for our world in action by planting our own seeds!!!
Please don't ask too many questions though...
We are working on something TOP SECRET!!!!!
Ask your little horticulturalist what the recipe for growing seeds is and the most important ingredient in particular!!
(Hint, Hint!!! If they need some prompting... good soil, clean water, sunshine and most importantly...lots of LOVE!!)
Speaking of taking care of God's Creatures..
Here's our caterpillar update!!
They keep eating and eating and growing and GROWING!!!
(Kind of like our own little munchkins!!)
We made our own Very Hungry Caterpillars!!
They will be coming home soon!
Our Five Day Friends continued the Earth Day fun with a trash sort!
(Our scissor skills are coming along so nicely!!!)
And so are our sorting skills!!!
Our little environmentalists LOVED the original Lorax movie!!
It's my very favorite Dr Seuss Book and Movie!!
Then we took our much anticipated trip to Space Farms Zoo...
where we saw so many special critters!!
There were LIONS...
AND BEARS... OH MY!!!
And there were so many STS cuties...
And there were teachers in the wrong SCHOOLHOUSE too!!!
It was so much fun for everyone!!
Let's not overlook how great our own STS GREAT OUTDOORS is too!!
Our Five Day Friends learned about another very special animal this week...
It starts with a "W"...
Any guesses???
W is for Walrus!!!
What a magnificent creature!!
We also made a very special card for a very special person!!!
Ms. Hopkins loved it so much that she put it right up on her office door for everyone to see!!
Then on Friday, we learned about one of the most magnificent animals living in our amazing world!!!
WHALES!!!
We especially loved learning all sort of cool facts about them...
Like did you know that their fin can be as tall as Mr. Dunnigan?!?!
And that they can hold their breath for as long as between our snack time and lunch times????
BTW... Painting the spray coming out of their blowholes was our favorite part of this craft!!!
Our little marine biologists' sound effects were my personal favorite!!!
Then we learned all about AIRPLANES!!!
And made our very own!!!
Maybe one day one of our future aerospace or chemical engineers will invent a more environmentally conscience fuel for this method of transportation... But until then, its still a super cool method of transportation!!
And who knows... maybe one of these cuties will become a pilot one day too?!?!
We ended this very special week with this wonderful photo!!!
What a beautiful representation of God's truly spectacular creation!!!
Hope you get lots of XOXO's from your little one this week!!
