Our Week in Photos:
๐ธ Here's A Little Snap Shot of Our Week๐ธ
Q is for Quilt
๐We love our little "Q"-ties!!๐
q is for queen too!
Ask your little one all about the NAUGHTY queen we read about!!
And then our studies took quite a twist as we turned our eyes to the skies!!
We took a little field trip outside to look at the Clouds above and to take our Winter Tree Photos! It may have been our last chance to take them since we are forecast to have springlike weather this upcoming week!! YAY!!!! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Lieutenant Rocco for helping our class with our photos!! He was such a big help!
Then we came inside and made our own clouds!!
We used a cool new painting technique!!
(ssshhh! It was more fine motor practice!!)
We had so much fun making our rainy day umbrellas and counting out our SIX raindrops too!!
Our scientists were back at it mixing a new color!!
Ask them which two colors we used to make our new one!!
HINT, HINT: We used it to paint our rain clouds!!
Can you guess what we will be adding to our rain clouds next week???
Raindrops were so fun to learn about and to make too!
(Lot's of fine motor skill work here too!!)
Our rainy day stories came out great too!
Polar Bear and Penguin Yoga was sooooo cooool!!!
We got a jumpstart on some rainbow fun!!
Now here's a look at what our Five Day Friends were up to this Fun Filled Week:
We learned all about Penguins!!
We loved making our Penguin Puppets!
And used balloons to help us waddle like penguins!
SSSHHHH!!! Don't tell our little penguins they were working on their gross motor skills!
Then we took a polar plunge!
YES! THAT'S REAL SNOW!!! Brrrr...
ssshhh... Don't tell our little scientists that we were working on sensory skills!!
We loved learning about real penguins!
And we learned why they can swim even though they are covered in feathers!
Our scientific experiment was so cool!!!
Then we turned our attention to Polar Bears! We learned that even though Penguins and Polar Bears do not live near each other, their HABITATS are very similar. We also learned all about CAMOUFLAGE too!!!
And then we made Puffy Paint with two very strange ingredients!!
It was so cool to paint and make polar bears with!!
We did so well on our Polar Bear Shape Review too!!
And then dove right back into our intense HABITAT STUDY!!!
This time we used some "pretend" snow!!
And then more Arctic yoga!!
And of course... some playdough fun as well!!
Time to say goodbye for now, but there's lots more fun in store for us next week!!
I hope you enjoy the Springlike weather this week, I know we will!!
