Week of September 23, 2019

We had another fun filled week of learning this week.  The children loved spending the day with their teddy bears on Show and Tell Friday.  "Blue Bird, Blue Bird" was so much fun to make, play and sing too!  We had fun going on our "bear hunt" and using our binoculars to explore our sense of sight.  The children adored being adventurers and exploring our school grounds using our binoculars!  They made so many wonderful discoveries!  Be sure to ask them all about it. 

We also practiced our fine motor skills by making adorable acorns that are now on display in our classroom.  Be sure to take a peek at them next time you are in the Learning Center.

This week we will be learning the letter Cc, focusing on our sense of hearing, and learning about and observing signs of Fall.

If you are interested in having your child participate in The Little Gym after school program offered right at here at St. Therese School, please send back the registration form that went home in your child's backpack as soon as possible.  Please let me know if you need an additional form.

Religion:  Sign of the Cross, Simple Prayers, Grace before meals, "Jesus Welcomes the Children"

Show & Tell:  On Friday, September 27th, please bring in something that starts with the "C" sound (car, cookie monster, cat, clown, etc.) or something yellow to show and tell our friends about.

October 7th:  Fire Fighter Visit  (Information coming home in your child's folder this week)
October 11th and 14th- No School - Teacher Professional Day & Columbus Day
October 16th-  Pre-K Fall Fun Day
